Nutribudget at the ERIAFF 2025 Annual Conference

“Transformative Innovation: Circular Bioeconomy for Rural Development and Resilient Landscapes” that is the year’s theme for Network of European Regions for Innovation in Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ERIAFF) 2025 Conference, which gathers regional policymakers, agri-food and forestry developers, as well as researchers to engage in discussions on resilience and the bioeconomy in Europe.

In the framework of the ERIAFF conference, BETA-UVIC organises a field visit at the Murucuc experimental field, where deep-rooted nutrient cycling is studied using Kernza, a perennial cereal. This site is part of the
NutriBudget project, and aims to enhance nutrient management by optimizing the use of fertilizers and inputs, reducing environmental pollution, and improving agricultural productivity.

This visit is designed to foster knowledge exchange, showcase best practices, and inspire collaboration in the field of circular bioeconomy and environmental sustainability.
